| TDAP is the successor organization of EPB which was established in 1963. EPB has well served the promotion of exports of the country for the last 43 years. The changing global trading scenario, the coming down of barriers and a more fiercely competitive marketplace, EPB has had to re-invent itself from an export promotion role to have a more holistic trade development focus. In this process TDAP will transform itself over the next 18 to 24 month period into a world class organization. TDAP will imbibe the world’s best practices for trade development and with the needed fiscal and organizational empowerment provided by the Presidential Ordinance and it should play a critical role on achieving the aspirational targets set for year 2012/2013.
