TWTC, the foremost non-profit
trade promotion organization based in Taipei was founded in 1970
to help promote foreign trade. Jointly sponsored by the government
and the industrial as well as commercial associations, it assists
domestic businesses and manufacturers to reinforce their international
competitiveness and to cope with the challenges they face in the
foreign markets. Throughout past decades, TWTC has developed well-coordinated
trade promotion and information networks with more than 600 specialists
worldwide. In addition, TWTC undertakes many initiatives to help
foreign businesses establish a wider presence in local market.
The TWTC is a 4-in-1 complex designed to accommodate
the needs of the international business community. The Exhibition
Hall, International Convention Center, International Trade Building
and Grand Hyatt, all comprise one integrated business complex
that would combine exhibition space, conference facilities, offices,
and hotel accommodation for international business. The TWTC stands
at the forefront of world trade while serving as a model for global
trade centers.
